I believe this is the third prison sentence for Brother Benedict
I think this would be a great opportunity for the De La Salles to apologise to Survivor Doogster 61 face to face as I described in last post.
Now.
Not a Suit or a PR man which would be cowardly, but a DLS brother.
There’s no excuses here or reasons for prevarication or ingenious ways of avoiding responsibility.
I think we would all be impressed by an example of genuine compassion.

Good afternoon Pat.
Just to confirm Brother Benedict aka Michael john murphy from St Ninians Gartmore was today sentenced to 7 years imprisonment.
Not long enough in my opinion.
I think the judge took his age into consideration at 88 yrs old.
He did not take the children’s age into consideration when he was sexually abusing them.
Nevertheless, a bit of justice at last.
Maybe their organisation will meet me and now offer a personal apology?
Me thinks not! Keep up the good work. Persistence will prevail.
